The temperature is dropping fast now with snow forecast again for a central band running more or less straight through our part of the country. The moths however, appear to be ignoring this fact and are still arriving in reasonable numbers for the time of year.
Large numbers of Mythimna unipunctaChesias legatella still plentiful too, twentythree vitellina, several ipsilon and a really fresh and bright Chloroclysta siterata on the outside of the trap at first light.
