Travel to Las Descargues
Las Descargues lies between Figeac and St Céré south of Brive and east of Cahors, approximately 9 hours from the Channel ports.
By road - nothing could be easier. The A20 autoroute from Paris passes within 40 minutes of Las Descargues and detailed directions will be sent with your booking confirmation. We can provide route details on request to avoid Paris.
By air - it is possible to fly to Rodez, Toulouse, Carcassone and Limoges from the UK. Booking times can be adapted out of peak season to enable visitors to benefit from the cheaper flights available in mid-week. Cars can be hired from the airports but book well in advance. Rodez has recently opened to Ryanair flights from Stansted and is just an hour away from Las Descargues, our son recently made the trip for 1 cent so keep an eye open for bargains.
By coach - the London - Toulouse coach stops at Brive and Souillac both just an hour away. Collections from the coach can be arranged.
By rail - it is possible to travel from London to the Gare du Nord in Paris then a short taxi ride to the Gare d'Austerlitz where a train can be boarded for Brive, or even Figeac where once again collection can be arranged.
